Applying for ACP
Getting your Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) benefits is easy. Just follow these four steps:
1. Find out if you Qualify
Your household may qualify for ACP benefits based on any one of the following:
1. Household Income
You are eligible for ACP if your income is 200% or less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines (see the table below).

For each additional person, add $10,280.
The table above reflects the income limit by household size, which is 200% of the 2023 Federal Poverty Guidelines.
2. Participation in certain government programs
You are eligible for ACP if you or someone else in your household is enrolled in at least one of the following programs:
- Lifeline
- Free or Reduced School Lunch Program, CEP Schools
- CalFresh or SNAP
- Medi-Cal or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Pell Grant
- WIC (Women, Infants & Children)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefits
3. Eligible Student in Household
You are eligible for ACP if your household has a child or dependent who:
- Participates in the Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program
- Is enrolled in a USDA Community Eligibility Provision school

2. Collect the Requested Documents
During the ACP application process, you’ll need to provide two different types of documentation that establish proof of identity and proof of eligibility.
PROOF OF IDENTITY
To establish your identity, you can use one of the following:
- U.S Driver’s License
- Government ID: State ID, U.S. Military ID
- Passport (current from any country)
- Individual Taxpayer ID number
- Matricula or Visa Consular Card
- Birth Certificate (any country) for the minor that is the Benefit Qualifying Person (BQP)
PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY
To show eligibility, the proper documentation depends on the qualifying program:

3. Complete the Application
Applying for ACP is fast and easy. Just pick one of the methods below:
a) Online. The online application is easy to complete and takes just minutes. Click on Apply Today to get started.
b) By Phone. Talk to an ACP coordinator to sign up. Just call 866-922-1016.
c) In Person. You can also submit an application in person at:

d) By Mail. Print and complete the application (see below). Then mail the completed application with proof of eligibility to:
