The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) has ended as of June 1, 2024.  The $14.2 billion allocated by Congress for the ACP has been depleted, leaving over 22 million households at risk of disconnection. In Riverside County alone, more than 229,000 households are affected.

Despite the end of the ACP, RivcoConnect remains committed to ensuring that all eligible households have access to high-speed home internet service. If you or someone you know is finding it difficult to afford home internet, there are still various options available to help you stay connected. Visit our Affordable Internet page to explore a range of affordable plans in Riverside County.

Below is a summary of the county’s progress in enrolling households in the ACP. From the start of the county’s outreach efforts in September 2022 until the FCC’s enrollment deadline on February 8, 2024, Riverside County successfully enrolled over 117,000 households in the ACP program.
