To qualify for affordable internet service, you will need to meet the criteria set by your chosen service provider which include factors like household income or enrollment in certain government assistance programs such as:
- National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
- CalFresh (food stamps) or SNAP
- Medi-Cal or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Pell Grant
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Women, Children, and Infant Benefit (WIC)
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
- FCC Lifeline

How can I determine if my residential area qualifies for the affordable internet service provider plans?

Would this price be for existing customers as well?
Yes, this is available to existing customers. Each provider has their qualification criteria which include programs like WIC, SSI, and/or household income. Please call us at 866-922-1016, and we will help you find a plan that suits your needs. We’ll guide you through the process.
What is FCC Lifeline? Do I qualify? And why should I consider it?
Lifeline is a federal benefit that lowers the cost of phone or internet service. If you are an AT&T or Frontier customer, you may also qualify for additional discounts through the Lifeline program. Customers enrolled in Lifeline can receive up to $9.25 off the cost of their home internet service.
You can get Lifeline if you participate in one of these programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit

What is the difference between FCC Lifeline and the California Lifeline program?
The California Lifeline program offers eligible households a discount of up to $19 per month on their home phone or cell phone bills. Additionally, the FCC Lifeline program provides a discount of up to $9.25 per month on home phone, cell phone, broadband internet, or bundled voice-broadband services from participating providers. Eligible households can receive both benefits.
